I am currently in the process of establishing state records for the set of newly recognized age group swimming events. USA Swimming established National Top-16 Reportable Times for additional age group events as of the year 2000. I am now accepting submissions for times to be considered for state records in these events. These times must have been swum after January 1^st, 2000 to be eligible for state record recognition as this is the first year that the events were officially recognized nationally. The newly recognized events for which new state records will be published are listed below.
 
 

10 & Under-	500/400 Free
11-12-	1000/800 Free, 1650/1500 Free, 200 Back, 200 Breast, 200 Fly, 400 IM

 
State Record Plaques are being ordered for all swimmers who established new state records during the 2000-2001 and 2001-2002 short course seasons as well as those set during the 2001 long course season. An order will be placed for these plaques on April 8^th, 2002. Please make sure you have properly reported all state record swims to me before this date if you want to get your plaques by May.
