Press Release Incentive Program

Wisconsin Swimming has approved a club development program to reward Wisconsin teams for newspaper articles placed between now and October 2, 2000. The purpose of this program is to enhance our sport's heightened visibility due to the Sidney Olympics, give our communities information about how to get involved in competitive swimming and get out the message that our sport teaches the values that make great citizens.

Key phrases to be included in an article are:

"Teaches and promotes the values of hard work, perseverance and dedication"
"Wisconsin Swimming, Inc."
"...for more information about ..."
"Olympics" and/or "Olympic Trials"

A total of $1000 will be divided among the teams submitting one or more articles. Results will be announced at the October LSC meeting.
