WHATEVER ELSE IS ON YOUR MIND:

USA Dues: Carol Graham reminded Board members that the LSC pays for Board members' USA membership dues, but each member must return his/her registration form and credentials to her.

Expenses: Bob Jenkyns asked that LSC Officers and Chairmen watch expenses especially postage and printing.

Championship Meet Information: Age/Senior Committee requested 1997-98 Meet information, financial information, start and end times, number of entries, and proof of time information for LSC short course and long course meets.

LSC Provided Timers: Bob Jenkyns, Meet Director for Lake Country Swim Team and the LSC 1998 Long Course Championship Meet, reported that the system worked well for the LSC Long Course Championships. Timers had free admissions and beverages. However, three teams had "no shows" for their Timers. He suggested that the LSC fines ($50/session) from the "no shows" go to the host club. He asked whether the LSC should handle Timers for all LSC Meets. The Board decided that the LSC would provide Timers for a LSC Championship Meet, if the LSC receives only one bid to host the Meet.

Schroeder Aquatic Center Pool Rental: Jenkyns also reported that the pool rental for the Long Course Championships was $6,000 $130/hour for about44 hours plus 5% for pool clean-up. The hourly rental rate for the Short Course Championships, using two pools, is $140.

ADJOURNMENT: By consensus at about 6:50 PM.
