Attending the meeting today were: Dave Anderson, Matt Miller, Carol Graham, Jim Mohr, Jason McEvilly, Eric Jernberg

The group resolved that additional actions should be taken by the Wisconsin LSC to promote swimming among economically challenged and currently underserved populations simply because of the value of participation in competitive swimming for youth.

The points below are additional items that should be continued:
      1. Recommend continuing to raise the level of awareness within the LSC of the availability of the Outreach USA Swimming membership fee of $5.00 rather than the norm of $28
      2. Determine what clubs within Wisconsin are already doing to help athletes and their families participate in competitive swimming who demonstrate need. Assemble that information and share with all teams within the LSC.
      3. Recommend that the LSC explore ways to subsidize qualified athlete’s meet fees. Meet fees are a major barrier to participation in Wisconsin Swimming, Inc. sanctioned meets and USA Swimming teams.
      4. Ask Wisconsin Swimming’s membership to support an Outreach program here in our LSC by making a tax-deductible contribution to Wisconsin Swimming that will directly support things like meet fees and equipment. Ask through a page/blurb in the WI Sectional Championships and State Championships heat sheets.
